Seeing Kentucky from a Different Perspective: the Elkhorn

The Elkhorn Creek runs through Franklin County for several miles before meeting with the Kentucky River just north of Frankfort. The rains over the summer made the water levels rise to a high level, ensuring perfect temperature and a few exciting moments on the creek in a kayak.
